Lesson 1. In this lesson we learn a little bit about the home window, how to create a new project and open a new schematic.
Lesson 2. In this lesson we learn about some commonly used tools in the schematic editor and how to do some simple manipulation of parts like naming and setting values.
Lesson 3. In this lesson we will start a schematic for a real working circuit. In this case, a voltage regulator, filter caps and an LED. We will cover some new tools, point out some quirks of Eagle and pitfalls to avoid.
Lesson 4. In this lesson we will finnish our basic schematic and make a few housekeeping changes. We will cover some new tools, point out some new tips and prepare for some new features to be added on in Lesson 5.
Lesson 5. In this lesson we will finish our schematic by adding a couple of parts and prepare for starting on the board itself.
Lesson 6. In this lesson, we start actually creating a board design with the schematic we created in the last several lessons.
Lesson 7. In this lesson, we continue on with creating a board design with the schematic we created in the last several lessons. We will cover a couple of new topics like the Show tool and changing grid increments to move parts.
Lesson 8. In this lesson, we continue on with creating a board design and start some manual routing. We also learn about the Ratsnest tool for calculating shortest runs.
Lesson 9. In this lesson, we continue on with running traces, but this time we use the autorouter to do the rest of the job for us. We will also do a copper pour aka groundplane and go through the simple settings to make that happen.
Lesson 10. In this lesson, we learn about how to make the "disappearing copper pour" come back and also learn about running a silkscreen script. Here is a link to the files mentioned: http://www.rpc-electronics.com/eagle.htm
Lesson 11. In this lesson, we add on a non-scripted silkscreen text marking and run the Gerber generation script. Here is a link to the files mentioned: http://www.rpc-electronics.com/eagle.htm
Lesson 12. In this lesson, we will cover the top six questions that I have been asked either through the comments or private messages.
